Bobi was quite alone in the world. The poor frightened dog was found wandering near a train station and walking along the tracks, he was homeless and starving. But things were about to change when Howl Of A Dog showed up to save him.
Rescuers were concerned the dog could be hit by a train, so the first step was to redirect him to a safer location.
Fortunately, Bobi began to cooperate with his rescuers, getting closer to them. The dog had an injured left eye and was lame. Maybe Bobi realized they were there to help him, where he was so hungry and tired from his trip that he decided to see what treats they had.
Dog heartbroken because they don’t want him home
Bobi was a very gentle dog and allowed rescuers to pet him.
He was then taken to a veterinary clinic for medical examination and treatment, where he was scanned for a microchip.
To the surprise of his rescuers, he had one, but when Bobi’s manager was contacted, he said he didn’t want it anymore and asked if they could keep it. The abandoned dog was still heartbroken and they had to do something about it.
It turned out that Bobi had run away from home and was found about 10 miles away. He’s nine years old and blind in his left eye, and although he’s technically in his prime, he’s still full of energy and very playful.
It would have been very difficult for Bobi, winter alone on the streets, but now he is in good hands in a foster home. He is learning to be a dog again; he is playful and curious. It’s as if the lost puppy lives now.
Now all she needs is a forever home. Bobi is in the care of Howl Of A Dog in Romania, but they allow international adoptions in the US, Canada and Europe.
