This man comes home from work to find a cat waiting in his chair, but he didn’t have a cat before
After coming home from work, a man named Nigel who resides in San Diego, California (United States), found an adorable cat waiting comfortably in his chair. The man was quite surprised since he was not his pet, and he did not have any cats.
Apparently that day he forgot an open window at home. The little tabby cat looked quite comfortable as he meowed in his chair; it was as if he had lived there for a long time. Nigel checked the little intruder and realized that he had no necklace, and was following him around every corner of his house.
Nigel wrote in a post on Imgur:
I found this little naughty, he was just resting at my house. He must have come in through an open window, I don’t have a cat.

Right away, the man thought that his little visitor might be a little hungry, so he decided to head out to the nearest store to get some food and other special supplies for his new feline friend.
Nigel says:
The little cat was so happy. He meowed and purred while he ate.
Nigel took the little feline to the vet hoping to find a microchip, but there was nothing that could identify him; In the review they did find that he had some parasites and medications were prescribed, he received his vaccinations and the necessary care to return home with his new partner.
The man remembers:
I went away for a while to explore the neighborhood. None of my neighbors have cats.
Back home, Nigel decided to give his new feline friend a name, he named him Buddy and the kitten apparently agreed; he was a naughty and adventurous boy, he explored the whole place and as soon as he saw the bathtub he immediately jumped inside.
Nigel said:
The cat immediately took over his new environment and sits on top of or around me whenever he needs a break from wrecking my house like a demon cat.
The following weeks, Nigel continued to inquire with his neighbors and close people about the origin of the little tabby, but no one gave any reason about where it could come, already at that moment the mischievous Buddy was clinging to his new best human friend.
Nigel never imagined that he would be responsible for a pet and less so unexpectedly as Buddy entered his life, but they are happy together and he would not change his new life in the company of his curious and adorable tabby friend.
Finally, Nigel said:
She seems to love his new place. My boy Buddy adopted me.
