A couple of innovative designers, thinking about the different problems of their customers, created a perfectly designed bed for all people who have a beautiful cat as a pet.
People who own a cat know that they are too picky and often choose to sleep in a box instead of sleeping in their bed. That’s why this designer couple known as Catlife decided to invent a bed that suits both cats and their owners.
Catlife was born in 2013 and its creators are David and Naty, a couple of entrepreneurs from Duitama Boyacá, who live in Medellín, Colombia.
Perfectly designed bed for cats
Thinking of their “Catclients”, they always look for them to be able to satisfy their innate needs, but at the same time they seek to embellish the furniture of the house.
The bed looks normal when you look at it, but there’s a whole play area underneath; a labyrinth designed as a safe place for cats.
Catlife wrote on her Instagram:
“With our bed, our cat clients do not feel invaded in their territory, nor do they have to run around looking for a safe place to hide. Under this bed, they find a quiet place, full of calm and safety, and most importantly, it continues to have the same functionality for the owner! You will continue to rest as you normally would, but now you are providing a unique den for your cat.”
The bed has several corridors and special places for cats to sleep, play, rest or hide when they feel overwhelmed. Moreover, the bed comes with a mattress, two bedside tables and other decorations, and its price ranges from $550 to $680.
It may seem a little expensive, but if you think about it, it’s not too expensive to ensure your comfort and that of your cats.
Catlife added:
“With our furniture you can not only continue to enjoy your bed as usual, but you also give your cat a very special place, every cat lover would love to have this bed!”
Traditionally, the company makes cat beds and play areas, but thinking about the life one leads when one has a cat, they created the home line.
Catlife commented:
“In order to optimize space, we have created our line for the home: multifunctional furniture for human and feline use such as beds, bedside tables, desks, entertainment centers, bookcases and many more. others products.”
The products are made with different materials, but in general, their customers prefer them to be made with pine wood. Oak and melamine products are also produced; the good thing is that all materials come from forests planted with sustainable wood.
They also mentioned that the bed is completely safe for cats as each piece is strategically placed so your feline companions don’t get stuck.
The company acknowledges that although the bed is innovative, its design is not easy to clean as you have to lift the mattress to do so. However, they have already put their great ingenuity to solve this dilemma and have created a new design that provides a permanent solution to the cleaning problem.
