Wendy Broom was woken up by her daughter in the middle of the night. Fate sent her a battle task – she had to rescue an abandoned puppy that was wandering around their house. “We saved her, but I also think she was sent to us,” the woman said. She gave a neglected puppy a home and fought for his health, and he paid her back as much as he could.
Her crying daughter woke her up in the middle of the night. She had to help the animal
Wendy Broom was awakened from her sleep by her panicked daughter. The girl had an urgent request for her. A little hairless puppy was running around their house. He was bruised and emaciated. He needed their help and Wendy, awake from her sleep, was in a fighting mood. She decided to save an abandoned puppy.
“I had a little box and put a blanket in it,” Wendy said. And the puppy immediately went to snuggle in it.
He was taken to the vet to assess his condition. The situation was not going well.
“She had severe scabies, was full of different types of worms,” Wendy wrote on social media. “We had to give him special baths with medicated shampoo. She was also on antibiotics for a skin infection. It took several weeks for her hair to grow back.

The puppy had a problem with his front paw. He had to wear a cast
However, the female, who was named Taylor, also had other health issues. Turns out there’s something wrong with his front paw. She had to wear a splint and a cast for two weeks. After recovery, she became a completely different dog.
At first, when Wendy took her in, she was shy and quiet, afraid of her shadow. When her health problems ended, she felt more relaxed and began to believe that the people around her wanted her to be well. In the end, she was treated and safe.
“Within a few days his whole personality started to change,” Broom said. “She started to be more active and have a lot of fun.
Taylor loves everyone but has two main enemies: gophers and the family golf cart
When the paw healed, she was ready to meet her furry siblings. She managed to befriend a pack of dogs. They were great playmates and loved each other. Taylor also greatly enjoyed Wendy’s company.
“I really feel like we have this special bond,” Wendy says. “He follows me everywhere and loves to chew everything. She is just full of life and makes me smile.
Taylor has already spent two years with her family, during which time her personality has blossomed. He is a cheerful dog and loves almost everyone.
“His worst enemy is the golf cart,” says Wendy. “He thinks he has to protect us from him.
Her second biggest enemy is gophers, but Wendy didn’t dwell on the reason. The woman believes it was her destiny to find the dog and raise it.
“I really believe she came to see us for a reason,” Wendy says. “We rescued her, but I also believe she was sent to help us move out as our elderly dog is getting older. He passed away last week and he was the one who taught him how to be a dog.

It’s hard to imagine that haggard puppy covered in mange and living in a cardboard box will have a chance at a happy new life. Although her owner thinks the pup was heaven sent to her, she herself has become a guardian angel to him.
