A small and adorable puppy named Osito found himself completely alone, as his previous family decided they didn’t want him with them anymore, apparently for eating an animal from their farm; but luckily Little Bear won’t feel lonely for long. As soon as she found out about the little boy’s situation, Felicia Quispe Arana, who runs a rescue center called Colitas Sin Techo, immediately decided to take in the adorable canine.

The woman, who cares for homeless dogs in Cusco, Peru, was initially somewhat distraught as she was unsure how her other residents who were already adult dogs would welcome the small furry dog.

Fortunately, the bear who had also been nervous upon arriving at the new location could not have been greeted with more love and gentleness by the dogs rescued from the shelter, and it made a huge and wonderful difference in his mood.

The cuddly little puppy quickly made new friends, and luckily it wasn’t long before he got what he wanted most, a home to belong to.

Felicia told The Dodo:

“At first, Little Bear was intimidated to see so many big dogs. [After meeting the other dogs] he felt comfortable and walked with great confidence.”

Teddy’s story may have had a very difficult start, but now everything has changed and the adorable bear cub has quickly found a new family. It didn’t take long for the little boy to take care of the shelter and he was adopted by a wonderful family.

Felicia says:

[We were able] to find someone who ended up adopting him. Now she has a family and I hope she will have a long life and be happy.
