At the beginning of the year, the husband of a woman named Sara Fitzwater, was in one of the coal mines that he visits for her work, when he saw a sweet dog apparently alone. Although the man wasn’t sure where the canine had come from, after seeing her there again every time he visited the place, it became obvious that the sweet girl did not have a home or family to take care of her.
The man, who is an animal lover, little by little stole the heart of the animal who in turn completely captivated Sara’s husband with his friendly and sweet personality.
Sara told The Dodo:
Someone had left her in the area. Every time [my husband] went to this mine, she would run up to him and smile at him.

During one of her visits to that mine, Sara’s husband finally decided to take her friend home with him to take care of her and offer her the home that this sweet dog longed to have. She was already with her new family, and as part of her new beginning, she was called Sadie Kate.
Although her dream of finding a loving home finally came true, there is still something that she eagerly awaits day after day, it is her father returning from work at the end of each afternoon.
There is no doubt that for Sadie it is the best moment of each day and her joy fills everyone who sees her.
Sara says:
I work from home so I started to notice that she was just looking down the street waiting for him and I thought she was cute. I never dreamed that she would continue to do it every day.
Sadie found in her adoptive father all the love she longed for and seeing him come home every day is the best thing that can happen to him. It’s no wonder to Sara that Sadie is so in love with her husband. The woman assures that she is the type of man with a kind and caring spirit who captivates whoever she knows.
Finally, the woman added:
I tell her all the time that she won the jackpot when she smiled at him.
