Fritter is a senior dog who suffered a real tragedy. True, this dog loved his family with all his heart. Unfortunately, this turned out to be unreciprocated. One day, its owners decided to leave and never to return. The old dog couldn’t understand. He was convinced that the whole situation was a big mistake.
With the move, the family leaves the elderly dog behind
For many years Fritter lived in a home he knew well, among people who cared for him. Unfortunately, changes in the family have meant that the dog is no longer an important part of this small community.
One day the whole family packed up all their things, got in the car and drove off. For unknown reasons, people did not take the dog with them. They treated it as one of the things not to worry about during such an engaging activity as moving house.
Fritter did not understand what had happened. He decided to be patient and wait for them to come back for him. They always came back.
The dog was left alone. The empty box was the only substitute for the old house
During the day, Fritter wandered around the area, but each night he returned to his current home and stowed away in one of the cardboard boxes left behind. It was a very sad sight. The animal looked like an element of a household dump, composed of forgotten objects that had become useless.
Despite the passing weeks, the dog has not given up. Every night he came back to watch the passing cars. He continued to hope that one of them would be his owners who would take him with them.
Unfortunately, all he has left of his old life is a cardboard box. Local residents ensured that Fritter had access to food and water. He never allowed himself to come near him.
The faithful dog was terrified. He didn’t want to be caught by strangers
When neighbors learned of the demolition project for Fritter’s old house, they decided to seek help from a local organization that helps abandoned animals.
Representatives from Suzette Hall came to the scene with the intention of helping the elderly dog. However, it turned out that the dog is very afraid of people. He did everything to not get caught.
Eventually, rescuers managed to outsmart the animal and lured it into a trap. Fritter was terrified, shaking terribly. He only calmed down at the veterinary clinic. After a bath, a meal and some medicine, he realized he had found good people who could help him. Now he is waiting for someone who will decide to give him a loving home.
