Jamie is a 13-year-old Burmese cat who was abandoned by his owner after moving into a nursing home. Jamie came to RSPCA Australia with cat flu and kidney and dental issues. They gave the kitten the medical attention it needed.

The staff was still worried because no one wanted an old cat.

Sarah Dempsey, a young woman, intervened. Sarah Dempsey has arrived looking for a cat to share her company with. Dempsey shared the following: “When I met Jamie he was sleeping. But he woke up when I leaned over to see him. “It was clear he wanted a hug…I knew that. would save my loneliness, so I would do the exact same for him.”

Jamie was brought home and is now obsessed with her. Dempsey told Paw My Pets, “He’s not leaving me.” “He likes to talk to me at night and he follows me to my apartment.”

The best thing is that the cat does not sleep if his human mother does not hug him. Dempsey said, “If I let him go, he wakes up and meows. Then I put my hand over his again.”

Jamie is an adopted cat who refuses to go to sleep until his mom grabs his paw.

After his owner moved into a nursing home, this 13-year-old Burmese cat ended up in a shelter.

A young woman adopted him. “He doesn’t leave me… And extremely affectionate.” The best thing is that we can sleep together, hand in hand

“If I let go [the paw], he wakes up and meows, then brings him my hand…I think we’re already bonded.”
