Laura Malone, manager of Mini Cat Town, a rescue center for cats in San Jose, California (USA), took in an adorable kitten who needed help and a foster home. The little boy named Yeti arrived covered in fleas and dirt, but with the proper care, he turned into a beautiful cat.
Despite his small size, Yeti managed to eat a little as soon as he was rescued. The kitten was a fighter and really wanted to get ahead. She was seriously underweight and they didn’t know what happened to her mother or her siblings, but it was clear the kitten had survived and was still fighting for life.
Laura, his adoptive mother, started treating him for stomach problems. Yeti had trouble eating on his own, so they had to feed him with a syringe every two hours.
The adoptive mother told Love Meow:
“I fed him carefully, dripping formula on his tongue and hoping he would swallow little by little.”

Thanks to all the care he has received since his arrival, a warm bed and a toy to keep him company, Yeti has started to show signs of improvement. Soon after, she finally figured out how to feed from a bottle.
It was a big change for the little one who eventually went from assisted feeding to drinking his bottle with such energy it seemed like there was no tomorrow.
“He found his latch. My first reaction was: Wait! Slower!”.
After a big banquet, Yeti felt much better. She was strong enough to stand now, and she even began to vigorously knead her blanket. Thanks to her voracious appetite, the sweet kitten was gaining weight, becoming more active every day and letting her restless personality shine through.
“At mealtime I had to wake him up and he was meowing very weakly. Now he is waiting for me at the door and asking for food.”
The mischievous Yeti kept a close eye on mealtimes, and at bottle-time he patiently watched his mother wait for the food to be served to devour it until the end. The restless boy was more active every day.
“He’s not just eating, going to the bathroom, and going back to the brooder anymore. Now it requires a few laps of exploration on the ground.”
The adorable kitten quickly began to grow and develop all of her feline abilities; her Siamese features were pronounced in her paws and nose, and her charming personality finally emerged. Being a bottle-fed kitten, the weaning took a bit longer, but he eventually got through this step.
Since arriving in his foster family, the sweet kitty has been accompanied by a cuddly friend named “Puppy” every time he takes a nap. So when it came time to find her forever home, Yeti and her beloved toy had to stick together.
When Yeti was old enough to start a new chapter in his life, a family member of one of the rescue center volunteers fell head over heels in love with the little guy and brought him home.
The lovely kitten adapted quickly to his new life and new home, and as soon as he arrived at his new home with his humans, he took a long nap with his toy and best friend Puppy.
Now this little kitten has grown into a very beautiful Siamese cat, named Prince Labeija and is the absolute owner of his house and his humans who love all his antics.
