This homeless dog in Romania, she used to desperately chase all the passers-by she watched, in order to get some attention. She was a survivor of the streets, but from the way she acted she knew that some of the people she encountered could help her.
She usually, she could be seen wandering in different directions, dodging cars and following people, as if she was looking for something or someone.
Fortunately, the rescuers of Howl of the Dog, found out about the situation of the homeless dog and decided to look for her to help her.
Sweet little dog roamed the streets looking for help

The volunteers of the rescue organization were determined to rescue the dog in need, because they wanted to change her situation and for her to have a better life. When they arrived at the place, they quickly found her, but they had to be careful when approaching her so as not to scare her too much and that she did not try to escape from her.

The last thing rescuers wanted was for the dog to start running in the middle of the streets and be hit by a car. So they devised a plan to approach her slowly, so they gave her several treats in order to gain her trust.

The plan worked perfectly, as in a few minutes her volunteers were able to put the leash around her neck and rescue her from it. After that, the process became much easier and they decided to take her to the local vet for a medical check-up and find out what problems she was having.
While traveling in the car, the dog seemed to enjoy the trip very much, in no time everyone was at the veterinary clinic.

The vet checked her and looked to see if she had a microchip, which is required in Romania, to determine her age and if she needed any vaccinations, and it turned out that the dog that her rescuers called Lily was two years old, her health was fine and not he was missing none of his shots, so everyone was happy.

However, they wanted to make sure they took good care of her, so she gave him some supplements and vitamins to boost her immune system and prevent illness. She also had a part of her fur cut off because she had gum on it, and there was no way to remove it.

She was given a bath and thoroughly cleaned, then taken to a nearby park for her first walk. Lily was a bit confused and she didn’t know what to do, but her rescuers guided her and soon she was playing with other dogs.
Thanks to the shelter volunteers, she Lily was ready to start her new life, now what was missing was to find her a permanent home.
The good news was not long in coming, as her Lily didn’t have to wait long and a family from Germany decided to adopt her forever.

The shelter staff were happy about Lily’s adoption, so they decided to post the good luck that the dog had had on her Facebook page.
They posted on Facebook:
“”Lily has found a wonderful home in Germany.””

Lily finally found a loving home, and now she only enjoys the love of her family and the company of her foster brother named Mambo.
