Leonard was a cat who wandered around the area, looking longingly at his inhabitants. He seemed to be looking for someone he knew. He did not look like a stray cat and everything indicated that he could not find his way on the street. Finally, a resident of one of the houses informed the local organization that takes care of abandoned animals.
Shortly after the call, Sara Sharp, founder of the Community Cat Club, and her team arrived on site. They wasted no time and immediately began to locate the gray and white cat. It was to them that a man from the neighborhood told them a sad story about what really happened to the cat.
The cat was left completely alone
When they arrived at the intervention site, none of the rescuers expected the kitten to have such unpleasant experiences. Well, it turned out that he wasn’t on the street by chance. Hearing this, Sara and the rest of the team were even more motivated to change his life.

The purr was happy that someone had finally taken care of him
The rescue team had no problem putting the cat in the carrier to transport him to the center where specialists would take care of him. He rolled and purred loudly the whole way, as if to show his gratitude.
Although the purr was dirty, which showed that he had been wandering around for some time, at that moment his sadness faded into the background. He had a scab on his nose, so it is very possible that stray animals had managed to harm him. He underwent all the necessary examinations on site and was neutered. After a few weeks, he was ready to find a new home.
Leonard charmed everyone with his friendly demeanor
None of the rescuers had any doubt that Leonard – because that is what they called him – deserved the best home in the world. He was one of the friendliest cats ever entrusted to their care.
Finally, the day came when the little kitty met his new guardians. Sharp reports that their home is like heaven. He loves spending time with them and never leaves their side. His favorite time of day is in the evening, when everyone sits together on the couch in front of the TV and cuddles him. In addition, there were siblings cats and dogs.
In this way, the biggest dream of a charming cat came true. He did not deserve the way his previous owners treated him. Fortunately, he now knows what true love and loving caregivers are.
