This sweet tabby cat who was adopted from a shelter, stood out for his willingness to support, since he helps take care of the kittens in their care.
Holly Brookhouser and her family met a tabby named Rigby about six years ago at an animal shelter in Oklahoma, USA. At that time, they were looking for an ideal companion for their cat Canon, but they never thought that Rigby would be of great help to the other kittens.
Holly told Love Meow:
“A year after we adopted him, I started fostering kittens and realized that he had a great desire to help care for them.”
It didn’t take long for the sweet feline to show that he wanted to be friends with all the homeless felines who walked through the door of his house.

Rigby would visit the kittens in his home and they would end up curled up in a big puddle of cuddles; he spent the whole day with them.

Many of the foster cats came home without a mother, but Rigby quickly took on the role of surrogate father and filled them with love.
Although he generally spends the same time with all of them, he spent much more time with the orphaned kittens and wrapped his arms around them while they slept.

Holly commented:
“When the kittens don’t have a mom, he stands still while I drape bottles over his body and feed the orphans. They feel like they are being breastfed. From time to time, he also helps them make their potty.”

Apparently, the sweet boy knows exactly what each of the kittens that come to the house needs, just by looking at them. If Holly takes a cat home with her little ones, things seem to change a bit, but in the end she always achieves the same goal.

Rigby manages to create the right way to bond with the feline mother, but he always gives her the space he needs to be comfortable. When the kittens get older, he is ready to play with them and teach them feline tricks, but he also gets excited about kitten moms.
The lovable Rigby has been a great help even to older foster cats, as Holly uses him to test his behavior. Holly now has a cat (Millie) rescued from the streets, her litter of six kittens and five orphaned babies, in her home.

The five smallest orphaned kittens receive special attention and are even fed supplements and vitamins during the day. But the most incredible thing is that Millie has been attracted to orphaned kittens and has decided to take care of them as if they were her own babies.

Holly added:
“I’m so glad she is here to help! Both litters are content with full bellies. The smaller kittens like cuddling with their bigger adopted siblings.”
It should be noted that Rigby is always willing to offer his help and, this situation is no exception, so he keeps an eye on Millie.

Rigby always sits by the door, looking forward to visiting Millie’s foster room, and taking care of her little babies.
So, when Millie goes out to take a break away from the kittens, Rigby walks up to them and takes care of them until her mom returns. All the kitties adore Rigby and enjoy the extra dose of love that their best feline friend gives them, he is an exemplary volunteer.

Sure, Rigby has found his role in life, but the best thing is that he is the happiest cat when he has kittens to care for.
