An adorable and unusual looking dog is often mistaken for a piglet by people whenever they go out for a walk.
Many animals have a unique appearance that makes them different from others, but sometimes this physical peculiarity tends to catch people’s attention, like an unusual looking little dog that almost always confuses people and they think it is. is a little pig.
When young Devan Seaman adopted the little dog named Ted, he was practically hairless, but over time he started to grow hair in places. Even so, he did not have the appearance of a normal dog, since Ted was always characterized by a physical appearance different from others.
Devan adopted Ted from a shelter. There they thought it was a mixture of Chinese Crested Dogs, but after adopting it, they decided to do a DNA test.
Unusual looking dog confuses people
The test revealed that it is primarily a Chihuahua and a Mini Poodle, but contains a small percentage of Shih Tzu and other types of breeds. Regardless, Ted’s appearance is unique and he usually receives a shocked reaction when people first see him.
Devan told The Dodo:
When people meet Ted, they never know what to think of him. He’s such a strange and adorable creature!” They are still thrilled with him and always want to know what breed he is. Everyone always comments on how cute he is and how human his eyes are!
Ted’s physical characteristics create a lot of confusion, and recently something quite curious happened that made everyone’s day.
As Devan was taking a routine walk with Ted, a man came over to greet them and talk to them, as usual. The man stroked Ted, while chatting with Devan and telling stories about his life, suddenly the woman realized the subject thought Ted was a pig.
Ted’s mother was impressed, but appreciated the situation, so she didn’t want to correct the man and let him continue his stories.
Devan commented:
By the time she mentioned that her family also had a pig, she was almost completely overwhelmed and she didn’t want to spoil her excitement of seeing a pig.

Although the woman was not surprised by the man’s reaction, she was curious about the way he was treating her dog.
Devan added:
It didn’t surprise me at all. Honestly, Ted is taken for a pig almost every day. People always ask if it’s a pig or a possum.
We also ask ourselves: is it a dog?, but the answer is quite obvious if we take a closer look at each of its characteristics. Maybe its small tail is the one that confuses people, as it looks like a pig’s tail, but all of its features are unique.
People who always dare to say what animal it is, never say it’s a dog, and even think it’s a werewolf. Her unique look is definitely a real eye-catcher, and oddly enough, that’s what Ted likes the most.
Sharing with people and watching what they do is Ted’s favorite routine because for him people are even more interesting.
Devan said:
He likes to know what’s going on. She sits staring out the window for hours if people pass her. During our walks, he constantly stops to see people entering and leaving the premises.
Although Ted looks more like a pig, to his family he is perfect the way he is and his mother loves him regardless of their differences.
