This woman managed to grab her beloved dog in time when she jumped out of a second-story window, all to be close to her.
Camera footage shows Rachel Green chatting to a window fitter on her doorstep in Hawkinge, Kent, when she suddenly notices something strange out of the corner of her eye that sets off alarms.
Looking up, Rachel managed to see that her six-year-old Border Collie named Florence had opened the bathroom window and was about to fall out. Quickly, he tells the man “Oh my God, back up” and rushes to his place to grab his little dog.
As Florence fell into the void, the woman in a quick reaction manages to catch up with her just a few centimeters from a forced and complicated landing for both of them.

In the short video, Rachel can be heard exclaiming in awe, “Oh my God…oh my God,” as she cradles Florence in her arms. Fortunately, the dog was perfectly fine.
Rachel told Metro UK:
No, she’s never done this before and she’s six, so it was a shock! She’s always been an independent bitch, but I guess she’s gotten clingy since the pandemic and she’s working on home, she always wants to be by my side. I didn’t know how far I would go to do that!
The windows on the second floor were closed, but the little dog managed to open one wide. Rachel realized that Florence was there because the reflection of the sun on the wall was moving and that caught her attention.
Social media users were quick to praise Rachel for the lightning instinct she displayed in saving her beloved companion, which saved Florence from ending up with broken bones.
Finally, Rachel added:
The main thing is my dog ​​is doing great and only had leg pain for a few hours. Good luck! Oh, and I was gone five minutes tops so it’s not like she was there for a long time !
