One day, Rhonda Meeks stopped at the grocery store and ran inside to get a bottle of water. But first he left his dog Lily in the car parked out front with the air conditioning on. She left for about two minutes, then got back into the vehicle, hoping everything was as she left it.
However, Lily’s tongue suddenly turned blue. At that point, Rhonda immediately burst out laughing, while the dog tried to act cool, like nothing had changed or happened, which made it all the more fun.

“When I got in the car, she didn’t look at me at first. She just looked out the window”
Luckily for both of them, the mystery of the blue tongue wasn’t hard to solve, as Rhonda had left a blue raspberry ice cream in the cup holder, and Lily apparently decided it would be fine to help herself. After all, sharing food is a kind act, especially if it’s not dangerous for dogs.
It should be noted that the sugar in ice cream is not toxic to dogs, but excess sweetener can cause health issues, so it is best to avoid it. When Rhonda got out of her car to go to the store, she really didn’t think Lily would be interested in her raspberry drink, but the dog’s biggest weakness got in the way.
Rhonda added:
“She loves, loves, loves ice cream. Every time one of us goes to the fridge, she jumps up and runs to him”
That day, it seemed like blue ice cream was pretty close to regular ice cream in Lily’s taste, so it was easy for her to drink some and immerse herself in its delicious flavor.
But unfortunately, he couldn’t hide the proof: his bluish tongue. Luckily for Lily, Rhonda wasn’t upset at all, quite the contrary, because the whole experience was so sweet and fun. Everyone came out a winner, the sweet dog got a delicious snack and his owner laughed a lot.
