Beatriz Azevedo lives in Portugal and fell completely in love when a homeless cat gave birth to a litter of kittens on the family farm. She and her boyfriend decided to adopt one of the babies while her family stayed with the mother cat.
As soon as the little feline was ready to part with his mother, the woman and her companion took him to his new home and named him Charlot.
Beatriz told The Dodo:
“We don’t know if love at first sight really exists, but it happened with us.”

Charlot was characterized by being quite energetic and restless; he is always cooking something and running around the house. He is very interested in his adoptive mother’s activities and looks for ways to “help” with household chores.

Beatrice says:
“He’s always behind me when I’m doing anything. Whether I’m cooking, doing laundry, cleaning, he’s always with me no matter what.”

For Charlot, accompanying his mother in the activities of the house is very important, and he is generally at her side when she cooks, washes the laundry and even when she has to make the bed; Apparently, it’s his favorite task.
Beatrice added:
“He just lays on the bed and I have to keep pulling him. It happens when I put clean sheets on the bed, but also regularly when I just make [the] bed.”
Whenever Beatriz tries to make her bed, Charlot usually shows up and gets comfortable in the middle of the process. The woman found it amusing and decided to record the scene with her cat and post it on Instagram.
For these feline parents, the video reflects what they have to go through every day with their little kittens in their morning chores.

For charlot, it’s really fun to “help” mum make the bed; He will always be on the lookout to do his thing.
Beatrice adds:
“His favorite part is when I ‘shake’ the sheets in place.”

Charlot is very fond of housework, but bedtime will always be his favorite, and mom takes the opportunity to take funny photos and videos of her helping.
