Billy, the 5 year old dog, is a real swordsman. More than once he got into trouble, from which his owner Julia Zwar had to get him out. This time, however, the woman couldn’t believe her eyes when, back home, she read a message left by her neighbors at the door. The whole neighborhood is in turmoil about his crime.
Everyone knows a person who loves adrenaline, having fun and sometimes doing something crazy is the most appropriate thing in the world for them. A dog named Billy, who lives with a sitter in Melbourne, Australia, feels the same way. Although he often gets into trouble during his antics, the woman cannot stay mad at him for long. It just shows how much she loves him.
She left the dog home alone. The animal climbed on the roof
One day, Julia left Billy home alone as she went out to take care of some urgent business. When he returned, a message near the front door caught his eye. Surprised by this fact, she quickly unfolded the message and began to read.
– Hi, we found your dog on your roof… – these are the words that launched the note sent by Julia’s neighbors.
The terrified woman couldn’t believe her eyes, which isn’t at all surprising. Even if cats sometimes climb on the highest branches or walk on the sill of a window on a high floor, we are talking about a dog!
It turned out that the clever Billy used the alone time to explore previously inaccessible nooks and crannies of the house. Thanks to the fact that Julia’s roommate rearranged the furniture, the dog easily jumped on the bed located right next to the window. From there he went to the roof, which would never occur to the inhabitants of the house.
The neighbors organized a rescue operation
“We went upstairs and took him home, then we closed the window. Greetings from the neighbors of the park – read the continuation of the letter explaining the circumstances of the grounding of the animal.
When Julia entered the house, Billy happily wagged his tail as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. Apparently the whole rescue operation didn’t impress him much, or else he was pretending to play babysitter so as not to let it be known that he was still very mischievous that day.
Billy’s owner, in an interview with “The Dodo,” confessed that she adopted him when he was 15 months old. At that time, he was clearly thin and distrustful of people, but over time he gained not only extra pounds, but also self-confidence. Today, we know that his favorite activities are running in the park and looking for exciting new challenges.
“He was excited, but when I said his name in a ‘you’re in trouble’ tone, he lowered his head and I’m sure he remembered a moment earlier when he was standing on the roof.”
After these events, Julia and her roommates have to make sure that the door to the room where the dog got out through the roof window is always securely closed. If they forgot, the stunt dog would likely start a dangerous climb all over again.
