A woman finds her mischievous cat stuck in someone else’s apartment window and sees it through the glass.

George is an adorable orange cat who was rescued a few years ago and is the leader of his apartment complex. He is quite sociable and likes to make friends and greet everyone.

Although George likes to spend the day touring the apartment complex, he always comes home to his mother, Jodi McCree. One day, when she noticed that she was late in coming back, Jodi went in search of her somewhat distressed; she was very worried and distressed when she did not see him anywhere.

George was nowhere to be found, so Jodi returned to the complex to search again, and that’s when she saw George in the window of another apartment.

Jodi told The Dodo:

“I went to search my neighborhood in my pajamas with a bag of treats calling it. I looked like a mess and got a few stares from other neighbors.”

George allegedly snuck into one of his neighbours’ flat with the door open and then got trapped inside. When Jodi finally saw her cat outside the window, she couldn’t help but laugh with relief that she had found him.

George stayed inside this apartment for about 5 hours, as the neighbor was not home when Jodi called him to let him know what had happened.

Jodi says:

“He seemed a bit confused as to why I wasn’t letting him out, and instead laughing at him.”

During the time he stayed in the next apartment, he was safe.

His mother assured:

“I had water and the possibility of eating dog food. My neighbor has a super nice dog who gets along well with the cats here.”

As soon as George was able to get out of the neighbor’s house and join his mother, he didn’t seem to feel guilty about his worry; apparently, he just wanted to keep exploring the place.

Next time, you’ll probably be more careful not to get caught in the middle of their antics.
