Woman takes cat to college in China because adorable feline didn’t want to be home alone

Ba Dun is an adorable one-year-old Munchkin cat, a breed known for its short legs, who reside in the northwestern Chinese city of Xi’an with his mother Ms. Wen. The woman takes her cat to class with her after he wouldn’t let her leave the house without him, and this whole fun episode was recorded in a video shared on Chinese social network Douyin which quickly went viral on the internet. .

During the time he was in class with his mother, Ba Dun behaved quite well, he seemed to know he had to stay silent and not attract attention in order not to cause trouble for Wen.

Ms Wen told the Daily Mail:

Ba Dun kept snuggling up to my leg and looked really sad because he wanted me to stay with him. But I was late for my class. I couldn’t bear to let him down, so I took him to class with me.

Apparently, the feline behaved really well and the teacher never noticed his presence in the classroom. He only found out what had happened after the video went viral.

Ms Wen said:

He was really good and he didn’t make a sound.

According to Ms. Wen, her cat’s name “Ba Dun” which translates to “eight meals” honors her pet’s insatiable appetite. She says the sweet kitten could eat 8 meals if she allows it.

The lovely video quickly reached over 300 million views, and internet users were mesmerized to see the adorable kitten hiding with her mother while she attended her classes.

One user wrote:

Look at those big curious eyes! He also studies a lot.

Certainly, Ba Dun wanted to make sure that his mother considered continuing to bring him to her classes so that he could always stay by her side and snuggle up.
