Amy Haden, like every other day, started her day by opening the windows of her house to let the sun in, but when she reached the ones at the entrance, she found a rather peculiar scene: a large puppy was sitting comfortably on one of the seats of his Porsche and his attitude, it looked like he wasn’t going to move anytime soon.
Her daughter had already noticed the curious visitor, but when she said “there was a dog in the yard”, Amy thought she was just talking about the family pets, not a complete stranger. Looking out the window again, the pup noticed her presence and immediately started wagging her tail happily.
The woman wasn’t sure what to do, so she just recorded the relaxed dog sitting in that chair as if it were her own. Soon he went to give her food and water, and posted her photos on social media in an attempt to find her owners.
So, a month passed and no one claimed the pup, which Amy’s daughter called Walker since he had “walked” to her house for no apparent reason. The dog was happy in his new, safe environment, but unfortunately, he didn’t get along with the family pets.
Walker was much bigger than the other puppies, so Amy began to worry that at some point they would fight and one of them would get hurt. So in a last ditch attempt, he took the dog to the vet to get his health checked and microchipped.
In this way they discovered that the puppy was completely healthy and had no identification, so the woman started a campaign to give it up for adoption, thus reaching a grandmother who lived near her and who “prayed” for a guard dog. Don’t worry, he would accompany her and protect her home.
So after three months sleeping in Amy’s Porsche, Walker finally went to her forever home, where he was happy to care for his new owner.
