Its owner, Yoselín Macías, adopted him when he was removed from a clandestine farm because he was sick.
Max has won the admiration of thousands of people, not only from the city of Hermosillo, Sonora, where he comes from, but from all over Mexico. In addition, the story of Yoselín Macías and his puppy Max goes around the world, taking hearts and consciences wherever it is known.
Max is a Siberian husky who was removed from an underground farm because he had all the swollen glands in his body.
Macías then adopted the dog and began to help him with the treatment of his illness. This involves tests and drugs which obviously have a high cost. So, she imagined the way to pay them: sell cupcakes.
Thanks to this, she was able to raise the funds necessary for the biopsy of her animal, of which he gave the results on Friday, January 31.
Meanwhile, the two continue to sell cupcakes on the street near a church, so people can meet Max.
“Max will have to be treated with chemotherapy, said his veterinarian. The detail is what type of chemo they should give him. For this we have to wait for the results,” wrote the owner, who is asking for help to pay for expensive treatment.
“Do not stop supporting Max and praying for him so that he recovers and can play and run like all the dogs who walk in the cathedral when we go to sell cupcakes. I am very sad to see him lying and tired, while other dogs run and play, “says Yoselín Macías.
Yoselin Macias announced on February 6 that Max has died
