While Ali Safa was napping on the balcony, a kitten was looking for a friend. When he wakes up he finds the kitten on his stomach
Ali Safa once planned to spend time at his home in Canberra, Australia, playing video games. He wanted to sit in the garden first to soak up the sun, but when he least thought about it, he was asleep.
When he woke up, Ali was no longer alone.
He told The Dodo:
I was taking a nap on the balcony of our house and about two hours later woke up to find her barely asleep on my abdomen. At first, I thought it was a rat.
A little white kitten was lying on Ali’s stomach, purring with pleasure. He looked at her hairless pink ears and dirty little paws and felt something soften in his heart.

Ali says he’s always been very lonely, has hardly any friends, and has never had a pet. But listening to the kitten purring in his sleep, he said it was the cutest sound he had ever heard.
Ali had seen many homeless cats roaming his neighborhood, but it was different. It was as if the kitten had chosen him somehow. He took a quick selfie while she was still asleep, being careful not to wake her up.
When the cat finally woke up, she wasted no time asking for things.
Ali wrote on Reddit:
The first thing he did was get up from the couch, look me in the eye, and start meowing non-stop for 20 seconds. She was obviously hungry, so guess who shares the chicken wings my mom made?
After the kitten had eaten its share, Ali took it inside to give it a bath. After 10 minutes, he realized that the gray stains on his coat were marks and not dirt.
The kitten was patient in the water and Ali began to think about adopting it. And that’s what he did, he called her “Angel.”
He said:
There really are no house rules against pets in my family and it seemed like a small family could use it, so I was like, “Damn, I’m staying with her.
A visit to the veterinary clinic revealed that the kitten was healthy and without a microchip. Ali took her to the local supermarket, where she bought cat food and toys. It’s only been two weeks since, but everything has changed for Ali and Angel.
The kitten now has a forever home and Ali has a friend who will always be by her side.
All I can say is that she is the funniest cat I have ever played with. All she does is roam around me all day wanting to pet me or play. I am working on my laptop and she hops on my keyboard and sits in my arms. Picking it up and putting it on the ground isn’t helpful as it jumps again until it gets the hugs he wants.
