Damian Macci is a cyclist who took a training trip near his home in Argentina, but he never thought he would meet a helpless puppy on the way to help him.
Macci told The Dodo:
“I saw something come out of the undergrowth.”
He ignored what he had seen and continued on his way, but after a while decided to go back and see what it was.

Apparently the helpless little one was left there by someone without a heart to die, and he was very happy to have been found by Macchi.
This is how Macchi’s training turned into a rescue mission. He hugged the puppy and they walked home together.

The puppy turned out to be a female and was taken to the vet for an exam. Macchi wanted to share what happened with other animal lovers on social media.

“The dog was adopted. They called her Juanita.”
Juanita is being treated for ticks, but she is safe, the course of her life has changed completely, she will no longer have to suffer alone and sad. Now she is surrounded by a lot of love.
