During the Christmas weekend in 2017, a woman named Pia was walking the streets of Buenos Aires, Argentina, when she spotted a fragile skeleton dog, abandoned and covered with wounds everywhere, waiting obediently to die. Pia instantly knew she had to help him.
The dog was so weak that it did not seem like he would spend the night. Pia burst into tears as she picked up the helpless dog and rushed to the vet.
But at that moment, the dog’s mind was already crushed by abandonment. He did not respond to any treatment and looked apathetic with his dull eyes.
Pia did not give up, and for the next 48 hours, she stayed next to the dog, giving him food and drink, and forcing him to fight for his life.
The miracle happened after Christmas Day, when the dog renewed his will and his desire to live!
Pia decided to bring out her survival instinct by calling her Hercules. After many sleepless nights, Hercules surprised Pia and began to show signs of life.
Pia decided never to separate from Hercules. Today, Hercules seems unrecognizable because his fur has grown back, and he spends his days being the happiest dog with Mom Pia.
