A few days ago the German police made the cutest of arrests; a charming dog who ran away from his home in the village of Ziegenbach, was captured while venturing out on his own and even met a small group of cyclists with whom he had a lovely conversation together.
The dog may have believed it was just a passing encounter in the midst of their adventure, but cyclists concerned about the animal called the police and stayed with the mischievous adventurer until that the police arrive to retrieve it.
The dog was transferred to the police patrol and officers did not hesitate to take a photo with the arrested furry man. But apparently not everyone involved was happy at the time, as evidenced by the funny snapshot shared on the police department’s social media.
Dog who ran away from home has been “arrested”
Apparently, this dog never suspected that his incredible adventure could end inside a patrol. It seems that when he realized that his escape attempt had been foiled, all the happiness escaped his face.
The police in Neustadt an der Aisch wrote in an article on their Facebook account:
“The dog’s look is priceless …”
Fortunately for this free-spirited little dog, the intentions of the police were simply to bring him home. After inquiring, officers were able to identify the dog’s family.
The police wrote:
“Interviews with residents of Ziegenbach helped locate the dog’s owner and make the dog furry.”
Surely after his walk in the police patrol, the dog will think twice before trying to run away from home again to have another adventure on his own and he will look forward to the days of family walk like a good boy.
