Dexter was 20 when a family adopted him. Nobody had any idea of all the love he had left to give.
The cat Dexter was already 20 years old and they knew he did not have much time left, but they loved him and they decided to take home the old and sweet toothless cat and gave him a home for his retirement life.
Every day, Dexter reminded his family of how grateful he was to have a house and covered them with cuddles and snoring.
He sank into their arms and rubbed his head for hours while purring.
Not only did he get along with his new family, but he was also the leader of the pack of wolves.
His friends looked at him and protected him a lot.
Dexter covered everyone he crossed on his path of unconditional love.
He liked to meow and asked for food at 4:30 every morning. His meow was very grumpy and he will not leave you alone until he gets what he wants.
Like a typical cat, he was of course the master of the house.
His favorite activity was hugging.
Dexter was the happiest cat he could be.
Before giving up his soul, he lived two warm and wonderful years with his family.
“We will never forget the love and happiness he gave during his very short stay with our family, rest in peace, Dexter.”
“It’s never too late to save a life – there are so many old animals waiting to find their forever home in shelters around the world.”
Remember that older cats also need a home and it is much harder for them to get adopted. Keep this in mind the next time you look for a fur companion.
You may not save the world, but it will change this world for this cat.
