A dog named Dory, 5 years old, and her nine puppies, 2 weeks old, were abandoned in a parking lot of a church in Abilene, Texas (United States) on April 26.
Fortunately, an organization called Paw Angel Animal Rescue based in Abilene, found out what was happening due to photos that circulated on social networks and two volunteers immediately came to rescue the abandoned family.
According to People, one of the rescuers named Angel Urban, assured that Dory was injured when they found her, in addition one of the cubs who called Peach, had a tumor in his throat, which is why they had to sacrifice him.

Misty Boerger, who came to the scene to rescue the dogs along with Angel, expressed with a great feeling of disappointment the following:
I just don’t know how anyone could do that, leaving mom and the two-week-old puppies.
All the puppies were taken to the rescue organization’s facilities and because they needed to be cared for practically 24 hours a day, Misty decided to provide them with a foster home and all necessary care.
According to My Positive Outlooks, the rescue center also solicited donations to cover the cost of veterinary care for all stray puppies.

Without a doubt, the abandonment of Dory and her babies generated great outrage among animal defenders, who do not understand how someone can be so cruel and leave all these animals living on their own, without food or water.
Now the dog has her own Facebook page, where updates are constantly shared about her health and that of her babies.
Fortunately, the mother and puppies are now very well enjoying a warm bed and the necessary food.
All will be sterilized and are in search of a loving home forever.
