Ronald is an adorable 3-month-old Basset Hound dog who is quite cuddly and somewhat curious. He loves spending time with his family and is really creative when he puts his mind to it.
As Ronald grows in size, so does he find it difficult to pick him up on the couch next to his human to snuggle up. So, they thought it would be nice to buy her own ramp to make it easier for her to access the couch.
Emily Shiner, Ronald’s mother, told The Dodo:
Ronald is one of those characters. He is absolutely obsessed with food and treats. He is very affectionate and cuddly and loves pampering on the couch.
Dog is very excited about his own ‘slide’
As soon as the ramp was home and installed in the living room next to the sofa, his family tried to tell him how he should use it. Apparently, the cub understood everything, but apparently, he had other much funnier plans on how he would use what he sees as his own slide from now on.
Ronald’s mother remembers:
The first day he used the ramp, he decided to start sliding down, which was obviously a lot more fun.
So instead of walking down the ramp, the family always finds Ronald sliding down it whenever he wants to; Like any child who enjoys having his own slide, the little dog looks very excited. It is his favorite activity and of course it amuses everyone watching him slide and play.
Emily says:
He makes us laugh every time and has been a great entertainment during the confinement.
Ronald showed his family that he is quite creative when he sets his mind to it and taught them a wonderful use for the ramp that they probably never would have thought of. Surely now they feel very lucky to have Ronald at home to show them another perspective on how things work.
