Walking to the bus stop, Loraine suddenly felt like she was being followed. However, no humans followed her. The thing following her had no malicious intent.
The woman turned around cautiously and saw a small black spot following her. The adorable baby chose her out of everyone.

The little disheveled creature turned out to be a little kitten that Loraine was interested in. At the very beginning, the woman thought it was just a coincidence, that maybe they were going in the same direction. However, she soon realized that the little creature was following her.
The cat continued to follow her. She only had one option
The woman slowed down so the kitten could follow her. She searched the nearby bushes, checking to see if the mother cat and the rest of her babies were hiding there. Unfortunately, the little cat was completely alone.
“She wouldn’t stop following me. I thought she would leave as soon as she saw the food on the street, but no, she still walked alongside me”, says Loraine Baguio to The Dodo.
Even though other people were nearby, they paid no attention to the stray kitten. Baguio knew she couldn’t let herself purr. She decided to take the little kitten home.
When she left that morning, she never thought she would come back with a kitten. But destiny had other plans for her. So she focused solely on making sure the little cat was properly cared for. Cat, as the cat was called, was incredibly hungry and weak, but after eating, drinking and resting, she began to regain strength.

The woman knows that the cat chose her. She had nothing to say
Loraine never considered herself a cat lover, but as soon as she saw her, she fell in love with Cat at first sight. She knew she couldn’t leave the little girl who, of all people, had chosen her. There was only one option: she decided to officially adopt him.
“I feel like we’ve met somewhere before”, Loraine said.
The woman was surprised when Cat started to follow her. However, it seems like she knew what she was doing from the start. She knew she had just found her new mother and that she had to follow her. Even if Loraine didn’t know it yet, the cat was already hers as soon as she started following her.
“I realized that she had chosen me to be her mother and that she had chosen me to take her home. And that’s how I got my first cat.”
